Greenwich Concours, 2010

The weekend following our Memorial Day remembrance finds the Northeast’s classic and collector car exhibit season getting underway in superb style with one of the season's best events. The Greenwich Concours d’Elegance is indeed the place to be come early June. This two day event honors the best of domestic automotive history on Saturday, with the rest of the world’s vehicular finery exhibited on Sunday. What a show it proved to be at its 15th annual running June 5th and 6th of 2010.

The crew at ARI and VRS has been both privileged and pleased to help administer the event over the last several years. We were at it again this year, seeing that the exhibit is arranged properly, then assisting with all that was needed throughout both days to see it all come off perfectly. We all owe Bruce, Genia and the entire Wennerstrom family our thanks for creating so many superb Concours weekends over the last 1.5 decades.

We put an exhibit of our own together this year housing two Ferraris; one just completed and an identical car in bare metal soon to be restored in our shops. The tale of two Ferraris (click here to read our Tale of Two Ferraris) tells this interesting bit of happenstance and destiny. We are pleased to see that the truly superb group of expert judges saw fit to award a good number of exhibit vehicles we’ve had our hands in, illustrated by the photos following. Congratulations to all. Some pictures tell the story far better than I.
