Body-shell-up restoration in process 2005
|
We restored this superb Alfa Romeo TZ in 2006. It has been exhibited at a number of well known concours events winning awards on a regular basis. The restoration left no stone unturned to make this Tubolare Zagato work as well as it looks. One drive will convince anyone that these are special cars. It has done just that for its curator. They have come to truly appreciate one of Italy’s great post-war small-displacement performance machines and are intent on doing more serious motoring. Back to the shop came TZ #750027 for roll bar modifications, fitment of a freer flowing SS exhaust system, discreet fire prevention installation and the sort of tweaking and tuning to ensure that all is sheer perfection. On track, running down the road in historic rally format, or just on a spirited weekend drive, it will indeed be ready come the summer season’s start.
