1992, restored Allard K2-Chrylser awaits pickup

It was 1992 when we sourced and then restored this very special Allard K2 Roadster from the original family owners. Its new and still present owner, an Allard aficionado and vintage motorsports enthusiast, was delighted. Superb history, superb documentation accompanied this historically significant car. It had been specially ordered from Sidney Allard with Chrysler Hemi power, De Deion independent rear suspension, and that special side mounted spare tire. Following restoration, it was exhibited at a number or concours events and driven regularly, while accounting for itself well in vintage races with the VSCCA. The Monterey Historics were a highlight where it did awfully well, finishing well up among a field of historic Allards.


Time waits for no Allard and circumstances found this car stored for several years. We are pleased to see this great vintage machine again and equally pleased to see it in such good condition after all this time. Allard K2# ____ is currently undergoing freshening to erase a few minor indiscretions time creates, after which we will be looking for its next curator. We’re delighted to be assigned both tasks and pleased to be able to once again be a part of this car’s pedigree.
