Ghibli Spyder restored as delivered nearly two decades ago

Nearly two decades ago we restored Maserati Ghibli Spyder Number 1233 in its attractive original red. We sorted all the mechanicals needed, went through the interior and delivered the car to a happy owner. Years and years, miles and miles go by and nothing, not even a call. Sure we miss this Maserati, but no news is good news on the car front most of the time. It’s March 2011 and the call comes in. I’m moving and my new environs are not Maserati territory. “I love driving this car, I’ve used and enjoyed it regularly all these years, but it is time to let someone else share the experience.” A few days later it was here, still looking much the way it did when it left our door those many years ago.
