The Morgan Plus Four is a more powerful, and in the case of the earlier cars, slightly longer version of the Morgan Motor Company's 1950 4/4 model. The wheelbase was lengthened by 4” to 96”. The width increased by 2” to 47”. This increase in dimensions improved the ride and handling. The Plus Four came with a 4 cylinder Triumph TR3 engine. In addition, the car came with a 4-speed transmission and Girling drum brakes.
Road and Track wrote the following concerning the Morgan plus Four, “In the hands of the right kind of driver, the Plus four is nearly unbeatable and the road holding and braking are more than adequate for the very real performance. If the object of the exercise is really high average speeds in absolute safety, there is nothing to compare with the Morgan.
This beautiful example of a Morgan Plus four is a result of an older restoration. The exterior is painted in Deep Red with Black fenders and the interior is presented in Tan leather with a light wood dash. The condition of this interior is excellent.
