A Good Gordon England's Emancipation

“That’s a Gordon England Austin 7” he cried as it sat there on our shop floor. “My God”, said the very Austin Savvy Murray. Note the photos; a barn find hardly covers it! That fabric body in red and black with just a few other details tipped him off despite decades of grime. A quick clean of the sill plate and WOW…

Murray appreciated the patina…”clean it carefully and restore the mechanicals so all functions to perfection” was the business at hand. Soon done then driving to test, and it sure is fun. Exhibited at Lime Rock’s Sunday in the Park Concours in the “As Found” class where it fit perfectly. Not too long after that an Ulster found it’s way into the garage beside Murray’s Gordon England. He liked it so much he’s bought another!! Note Austin Ulster pictured!!
