Ferrari Flavor

Another tidy up in a continental flavor: Roger’s Ferrari ran OK but used a little more oil than norms allowed.

It was a solid Lusso that had seen a quality refinish and retrim in its recent past…..but the engine bay was not up to the mark. Further, the transmission had a slow synchro or two and the pieces fit together nicely; restore the drivetrain & tidy things up noting that the value is assured & enhanced.

TESTED, TUNED & READY. Charlie gives Roger a few break-in instructions to ease a revived drive train into its 2nd or 3rd life. Result: The whole car is now up to speed with the finish work done some time ago & the interior we undertook about five years back still looking neat and new.

IT BUGS ME…was what this avid Ferrari collector would say about the slight coach-built car difference in left and right headlamp area contours. Only one fix possible: Make the templates to correct at top, cut and rework the metal above, paint the nose, above right and job done with one big irritation down the road per photo right.
