1936 Oldsmobile F36 Business Coupe
Oldsmobile advertised the Six as "The Car That Has Everything." While it competed with the larger and more powerful Oldsmobile Eight, little was missed in terms of technology and luxury for the time. The Series F, powered by a 213 cubic inch I6 engine producing an impressive 90 horsepower, was more affordable than the larger eight-cylinder engine, which produced only ten more horsepower. It also suited the needs of the average driver better than its larger counterpart, as the slightly shorter wheelbase offered a more manageable driving experience. This 1936 Oldsmobile Business Coupe has been cared for by Automotive Restorations, Inc. for many years, including a full engine rebuild in 2014. The black over tan color combination is a classic look that shows very well, with minimal wear on the reupholstered bench seat.
