Lancia produced the Aurelia B20 in six different series between 1950 and 1958, with Series IV being by far the most desirable with today’s collectors and enthusiasts. It was the first of the cars to be upgraded to a more powerful 2.5 liter V6 engine and the first to feature the de Dion rear suspension design, vastly improving handling. After Series IV, the cars got heavier and featured luxury appointments which made it less of a beautifully balanced sports car and more of a luxury cruiser. We’re proud to offer this rare and desirable Series IV example. It’s a wonderful example that features the rare and highly desirable Nardi performance kit with twin Weber carburetors, cast aluminum air cleaner, hood scoop and a 4-speed manual floor shift.

Sold new in Italy in 1955, this car would remain in Europe for 56 years until it was imported in the U.S. in 2011. The current owner had planned to take the car on the 2019 Mille Miglia and had Lancia expert Santo Spadaro meticulously prepare the car for the rally. Alas, plans change, the owner cannot go, and has decided to let the car go to a lucky new owner. It’s eligible for every event on the planet… it’s turn-key and ready to drive… even on the Mille Miglia!
