In 1957, Cadillac redesigned the ever-popular Eldorado with an exclusive design that included a low, down-swept fender topped with an iconic rear fin. Only 1,800 Biarritz convertibles were produced for the 1957 model year, making them highly desirable pieces of Cadillac history. They feature unique coachwork from Fisher on a revised and lengthened X-frame chassis powered by a 325-horsepower 365ci V8. The result was a smooth yet powerful driving experience with every available luxury feature. Power steering, brakes, windows, and an automatic retracting top were all standard, with leather upholstery that competed with Rolls Royce and Bentley's more-expensive offerings. The Eldorado was an instant American icon.

This 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible is a beautiful example, finished in black over red leather interior with a matching back convertible top. It comes from long-term ownership and is an excellent driver. It is well optioned, with Sabre wheels and Autronic-Eye, as well as full power accessories. This Biarritz has been under the care of Automotive Restorations, Inc. since 2012, with extensive service performed within that time to ensure that this Cadillac drives as well as it would have in 1957. The result is a stunning, reliable piece of American automotive history that turns heads everywhere it goes.
