This car had a national level concours rotisserie restoration done in 2007. Every nut and bolt on the car was disassembled and put back together in absolutely brand new condition. All mechanicals and cosmetics were done to factory new spec. The quality of the work done is evident no matter where you look on the car. Interior, exterior, underneath, all gorgeous. The fact is, the true test of the quality of a restoration is how it looks many years later, and this car is still concours ready today.

The car was born, and still is, LeMans Blue (#UU) with a medium blue interior (#717). Everything about it is 100% factory correct. The engine in the car is a correct, date stamped 1968 396/325hp, exactly as the car was born. However it is not the original engine, not uncommon at all with big block cars, as many of these engines were blown up by lead footed owners back in the day.

The car was assembled at GM’s Norwood plant on January 8, 1968. It has its original, matching number Muncie transmission with a Hurst shifter; original Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor; original rear axle; and it has one very desirable upgrade, period correct air conditioning.

On a recent road test the car performed flawlessly. Not surprising given the quality of the restoration, and given the meticulous and documented care it has received since. We offer this car at about half the cost of duplication.
