1968 Porsche 912
When a car comes along that combines superlative condition with a great history and documentation, it’s hard to resist. This lovely 912 was a one owner car living in Colorado showing just 41,000 original miles when Carlene Murphy from southern California bought it and decided to restore it. Only the best Porsche artisans in and around L.A. had their hands in bringing this car to the next level: Larry Markham rebuilt the motor, Jim East of The Paint Shop did body and paint and Autos International restored the interior. That work was done around 2011 and since then the car has been beautifully maintained and is now looking for a new home. It’s all matching numbers, floors, doors, lids and fenders are all original to the car, color was changed from factory Burgundy Red to this spectacular shade of blue, the interior is the factory original shade of Beige done in leather and it features the very desirable and optional five-speed transmission.
