Here’s a wonderful example of the iconic Mercedes 280SL “Pagoda”. It’s a very original, low mileage car… one repaint about 25 years ago. Finished in Dark Red (Code 542) with Congac MB Tex and it features a very rare and desirable 4-speed manual transmission. If you’ve never driven a 280 with a 4-speed, you should! It transforms the car from a boulevard cruiser to a real sports car. Perfect panel fit, fender notches are intact. There are a few areas where the paint is showing its age (photos available), but it would be best described as patina of normal aging. Hard and soft top are in perfect condition. The car comes with factory manuals, all original tools, jack and spare, as well as the factory original Becker Europa radio. Original mileage is just 75,800.
