Lovingly named “Baby Benz” by Mercedes enthusiasts alike, the W201 chassis is often regarded as one of the best chassis’ by Mercedes during their pinnacle era. The 190e was a robust and reliable vehicle, perfect for enthusiasts looking for a proper handling, well sized daily driver. The W201 chassis was a direct competitor with the notorious E30 from BMW; both chassis’ offering various trim levels and performance options. To this day, the 190e is considered to be one of the best sedan designs from the 1980s and 1990s, for its svelte like proportions and classy features.
