In 2005, Ferrari introduced the successor to the widely loved 360: the F430. The F430, while visually similar to the 360, improved upon its predecessor in every measurable standard. A Tipo F136 4.3L V8 engine replaced the 3.6L V8 found in the 360, producing 90 horsepower more than the outgoing engine. The body was also significantly updated, increasing downforce while improving upon aerodynamic efficiency. The new F430 design incorporated styling cues from Ferrari's most iconic vehicles, including Enzo-inspired tail lights and rear vents, Testarossa-style wing mirrors, and a front end inspired by Ferrari's early Formula One race cars.

For 2009, Ferrari decided to celebrate their 16th Constructor’s Title F1 Championship win by releasing a special edition of the F430 Scuderia; the 16M. Only 499 were ever made, with only 120 of them sent to US soil. The 16M’s took various features from the Scuderias like the 11.9:1 high compression V8, and added an open top for even more road going fun. Thanks to the flat-planed crank V8 which features a DOHC, variable valve timing technology, and an 8,500 RPM redline; the 16M's put out an incredible 500+ HP and a visceral audio experience. When released, the 16M was faster around the Fiorano test circuit than any other open-top road car Ferrari had ever made.

This 16M is a phenomenal example, finished in a rare Special Ordered Grigio Opaco exterior which surrounds the carbon-backed Nero Alcantara seats and interior. It has been lovingly owned and well documented throughout it’s life, and as such it includes original boxes & tools. With 7300 miles driven from new, this 16M is ready for road or track.

Offered at $345,000.00 USD - This example has sold!
